According to fan reports from Chicago, there were plenty of CM Punk chants at Monday Night Raw.
Fans at the show noted that the chants started during the Main Event tapings. There was another chant just before the live broadcast and fans watching at home could hear the chants during Drew McIntyre’s handicap match against Veer and Shanky.
On the USA broadcast, it wasn’t clear how loud the chants were since WWE can lower the crowd audio when they feel it’s necessary but you can see some of the Punk chants in the clips below from the arena.
For those of you that haven’t kept up with the news about Punk, the belief is that he will show up at AEW Rampage on August 20 at Chicago’s United Center.
Last week on AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin said that he wants to face the best wrestlers and that includes someone who thinks he might be the best in the world.
Punk has not commented on the rumors of his AEW signing but he has been dropping hints on social media.
