WWE NXT 8/3/21 viewership stays the same, key demo sets a new record low for final Syfy episode

The live viewership numbers for WWE NXT are in and a drop again.

NXT drew 520,000 live viewers, which is exactly the same as the 520,000 viewers the show previously drew a week ago, according to PW Torch. Last week set an all-new 2021 low, which was previously held by the January 13th episode with 551,000 viewers.

It did a 0.10 rating for the 18-49 demographic. The show did a 0.12 rating one week ago. This is the lowest 18-49 demo the show has done in history. Last week’s rating tied with the February 10th edition.

This week’s show went up against NBC’s coverage of the Olympics, which impacted all television shows. The ratings should bounce back when NXT returns to the USA Network next week.

The episode featured Ridge Holland vs. Ikemen Jiro, Roderick Strong vs. Bobby Fish, The Grizzled Young Veterans vs. Cameron Grimes and Million Dollar Champion LA Knight, Trey Baxter vs. Joe Gacy, Hit Row’s Ashante “Thee” Adonis and “Top Dolla” AJ Francis vs. Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde, and Johnny Gargano vs. Dexter Lumis in a Love Her or Lose Her Match.
