“The Suicide Squad” starring John Cena to premiere today on HBO Max

Fans have two options right now to watch “The Suicide Squad” starring former WWE Champion John Cena. It will be released on Thursday at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET in theaters and HBO Max. Originally, the film was going to be available on the streaming service tomorrow, but they moved it up a day.

Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Michael Rooker, Pete Davidson, and more also star in the film.

The synopsis reads like, “Super-Villains Harley Quinn, Bloodsport, Peacemaker and a collection of cons at Belle Reve prison join the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X where they are heavily-armed and dropped off at the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese.”

Cena portrays the Peacemaker character, which has a spin-off series already filmed for HBO Max. Check out the trailer here:
