Impact Wrestling has locked up a free agent to a multi-year deal and that’s former NWA TV Champion Zicky Dice.
Fightful Select reported the news today. At this week’s Impact Wrestling TV tapings, he worked a tag team match with Manny Lemons against Fallah Bahh and No Way. It was noted in the report that Dice will be a part of the Brian Myers-Sam Beale duo.
Dice had been on the free agent market since the end of 2020 when his NWA deal expired. Although he initially asked out of his deal last summer, it was denied and he had to wait until the end of the year came to a close.
Dice stayed busy throughout the first half of 2021 by appearing on AEW Dark and making appearances for MLW and other independent wrestling promotions.
Impact has signed several wrestlers this year such as Taylor Wilde, Chelsea Green, W. Morrissey, Matthew Rehwoldt, and Steve Maclin. They’ve also continued to move forward with their working relationships with AEW and NJPW by having the likes of Kenny Omega, Christian Cage, Jay White, David Finlay, Juice Robinson come in for matches.
