It looks like fans won’t have too long to wait to see Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) make his AEW debut.
Bodyslam.net is reporting that multiple sources have confirmed that Danielson will debut at All Out in Chicago on September 5.
Reportedly, Danielson was originally going to debut at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam in New York City as concern grows about the spread of COVID-19. Per a mandate issued today, fans that attend events at Arthur Ashe Stadium will be required to show proof of vaccination so the show is not in jeopardy right now but things can change if the number of COVID cases continue to increase.
All Out will also feature the AEW in-ring debut of CM Punk. He will take on Darby Allin. The show will be headlined by Kenny Omega defending the AEW World Championship against Christian Cage.
This past Wednesday on Dynamite, Punk responded to a “YES” chant by telling fans that they need to be patient a little bit longer. That was a clear indication that Danielson was on board with the company.
