AEW Owner/President Tony Khan was interviewed on “Sitting Ringside with David Penzer” to talk about Sunday’s AEW All Out pay-per-view.
Khan talked about CM Punk and a lot of the positive things that have been happening with the company since its launch in 2019. Khan promised that fans will be happy with what they see at the pay-per-view tomorrow night.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Bryan Danielson is basically locked in for All Out and there have been many hints that certainly point to Danielson debuting in AEW very soon.
During the interview with Penzer, Khan was asked about possible surprises on the show. Khan said the following: “Well I can’t say much and I don’t want to tip off anything and I don’t want to create uh – let’s just say I would strongly recommend everybody orders the pay-per-view. I think it’s going to be an amazing show, the wrestling will be great and there’s gonna be some indelible moments and I promise a great show. I don’t want to necessarily answer that question but I think if everyone tunes into All Out this weekend they are gonna get a great show and I’ll leave it at that.”
During his first appearance on Dynamite, CM Punk pretty much confirmed that Danielson is on his way to AEW and he sort of confirmed it on Renee Paquette’s podcast. During Punk’s interview, he said that if he was fantasy booking, he would want to team up with “American Dragon” (Danielson) against The Young Bucks.
