The overnight ratings are in for Friday’s WWE SmackDown episode, which featured a big main event.
The episode drew an average of 2.147 million viewers, which is down from last Friday’s SmackDown episode that did an average of 2.874 million viewers on FOX, according to Spoiler TV.
The first hour did 2.141 million viewers while the second hour did 2.153 million viewers. To compare, a week ago, the first hour had 2.933 million viewers and the second hour had 2.815 million viewers.
It also pulled in an average of 0.60 rating in the 18-49 demographic. That is down from the 0.65 rating in the 18-49 demographic the show did last week.
SmackDown was in the middle of the pack for the night among the networks in viewership. It should be noted that this is the overnight number and the actual rating won’t be released until Tuesday.
The past few weeks have seen SmackDown’s overnight ratings being impacted as it was preempted thanks to NFL preseason games that aired on local FOX stations. Thus, overnight ratings have been inflated.
The episode featured Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor, SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. The Street Profits in a non-title match, Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro, and more.
