Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole officially arrived in AEW at Sunday’s All Out pay-per-view event from Chicago, IL at the NOW Arena.
It happened after Kenny Omega successfully retained the AEW World Title over Christian Cage in the main event. Cole aligned with The Elite after super-kicking Jungle Boy. Danielson came out to stand alongside Lucha Express and Cage then was part of a show-ending brawl.
The latest Being The Elite episode opened with The Elite doing a seance to reach out to the ghost of Cole as his character on the show had died when he signed with WWE a few years ago. Cole emerged and questioned why he was there.
At the end of the video, there was behind the scenes footage of Cole and Bryan getting ready to walk out. After the segment, Cole was seen hugging his friends and girlfriend, Britt Baker. Cole told Matt Jackson, “What a frickin’ night.”
Cole’s WWE contract expired at the end of last month and became a free agent. He talked after the show about this being an easy decision to make in regards to signing with AEW.
Danielson finished up his commitments with WWE earlier this year and was openly talking about it being a difficult decision for him to leave. You can watch the entire BTE episode by clicking on the player below:
