Drew McIntyre names WWE NXT 2.0 star he sees as a future main event player

Drew McIntyre knows what it takes to make it from WWE NXT to the main roster as he did just that during his second run with the company. Now, he’s a top star and even worked the most matches in 2021.

While speaking to Rick Ucchino of SportsKeeda, McIntyre was asked whether he will show up in NXT. He named wrestlers such as Roderick Strong and the Toxic Attraction stable as people who have caught his eye. He then brought up seeing AJ Styles make recent appearances on NXT and noted that if something logical comes up then it’s a possibility.

“I was just trying to think, who logically would I come out and do something with? Maybe, Bron Breakker. We’ve spent some time in Europe. I got a chance to see him up close. To see his attitude, his work ethic, I’m very impressed. If he keeps doing what he’s doing, keeps his feet on the ground, he is going to be a future main event player for us for sure.”
