Samoa Joe issued the following statement following the news of his release from WWE:
“Extremely fortunate and grateful to all the young & amazing talent I had the pleasure of working with in the past months. Only saddened at the loss of an “excuse” to see their continued growth & achievement. I am very excited for there future,….. and mine”
As noted earlier, Joe is the latest person released who was seen as a Triple H guy. It’s hard not to notice just how many Triple H hires were let go this week and it’s possible that more names will be gone soon.
One has to think that several companies, including AEW and Impact Wrestling, will reach out to Joe once his non-compete expires.
