Former WWE/ROH star signs with Impact Wrestling

Impact Wrestling has picked up PCO (Pierre Carl Ouellet) and signed the former ROH star to a contract.

This comes after PCO, Mike & Maria Bennett, Matt Taven, and Vincent showed up at the Impact Wrestling Hard To Kill pay-per-view event following the Hardcore War match by attacking the team of Heath, Rich Swann, Willie Mack, Rhino and Eddie Edwards.

The commentators referred to the situation as an invasion. As previously reported, Mike and Maria also joined Impact after their deals with ROH were up at the start of the year. PCO was also one of those wrestlers who had their contracts come up as ROH is restructuring and on hiatus for the first quarter of 2022.

Pat Laprade, who has broken stories in the past and recently had Kevin Owens on his podcast to discuss re-signing with WWE, reported the news today. He wrote the following on Twitter:

“As mentioned on “Les Anti-Pods de la Lutte” podcast, following his appearance at Hard to Kill last Saturday, I have learned that PCO has signed a contract with Impact Wrestling. The contract allows him to work on the indies, but he’ll have to prioritize Impact’s dates.”

PCO has been in the wrestling business since 1987 where he’s worked for WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA Wrestling, and more. While with ROH, he held the World Heavyweight, Tag Team, and Six-Man Tag Team Titles.
