LA Knight and Roderick Strong are getting a second look on the main roster in front of top WWE officials.
Pwinsider.com reported both NXT stars are backstage at tonight’s Monday Night Raw from the Huntington Center in Toledo, OH. This past Friday night in Nashville, TN, they wrestled a dark match against each other with Knight going over. Â
Although not confirmed, it’s likely they will be working another dark match or they could do a match for Main Event as WWE has done this in the past with various NXT stars.
Most recently, WWE used Tommaso Ciampa and Pete Dunne for two straight weeks where they worked dark matches at SmackDown and wrestled on Main Event before Raw. This is something to keep an eye on as if WWE continues to use these wrestlers for dark matches, it could be an indication they might be called up to the main roster as WWE did this with Austin Theory, Karrion Kross, and others.
