WWE is already advertising some big names for next month’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia.
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, Seth “Freakin” Rollins and Bobby Lashley are among the top names scheduled to appear on the show.
WWE is also advertising Mansoor. They usually begin pushing him a few weeks before the Saudi Arabia shows so expect to see more of him on SmackDown in the coming weeks.
The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is scheduled for Saturday, February 19 at 1 pm eastern time. The show will emanate from Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The time and date of the show likely means that they will keep some people back in the United States for SmackDown and Reigns and Flair won’t be on SmackDown on 2/18.
Dave Meltzer reported last week that there was talk of changing the name of the show. At one point, the name of the show/structure was going to be the WrestleMania Chamber and then there was talk of calling it The Annual Elimination Chamber.
As of now, it looks like WWE has decided against changing the name of the show.
