WWE star returning for the first time in 8 years at the Royal Rumble

Another former WWE star is set to return at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view and this name hasn’t been seen on WWE TV in almost 8 years.

PWInsider reports that Aksana has been spotted in St. Louis and she is set to appear in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

From Lithuania, Aksana was signed to a developmental contract in 2009 and she debuted in Florida Championship Wrestling, the developmental precursor to NXT. While in FCW, she won the FCW Divas Championship and the Queen of FCW Crown. She made her WWE Raw debut in 2011 in a Divas Halloween Costume battle royal and shortly after she was moved to SmackDown where she won her first singles match by beating Natalya.

She was also involved in a storyline where she was revealed to be Kaitlyn’s mystery attacker who was acting on Eve Torres’ orders. She was released from her contract in June of 2014 after losing a match to Alicia Fox on SmackDown.
