Keith Lee thanks fans following AEW debut

After much speculation, former WWE star Keith Lee arrived in All Elite Wrestling as Tony Khan’s big free agent signing on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite where he beat Isiah Kassidy in the Face of the Revolution qualifying match.

Lee had been heavily rumored as one of the names who would be signing with the company once his WWE non-compete clause expired on February 1st.

Lee took to Twitter to comment on the signing and thank fans for their support by writing: “We got a lot of work to do still. But I more than appreciate the warm welcome back. The person with the sign that had the same silhouette that’s on the front of my hoodie…. thank you. Touched my soul. And with sad family times hopefully behind me….let’s grind. #ForwardMarch.”

He was pushed as a top star in NXT where he became the North American Champion and NXT Champion, but found disappointment on the main roster. Lee was part of the WWE talents last November.
