Former WWE NXT star signs full-time deal with AEW

AQA impressed AEW President Tony Khan so much after just one match in the promotion that he signed her to a deal.

Khan took to Twitter today to announce that AQA is All Elite, an indication that a talent has signed a full-time deal with the promotion. He wrote in the caption: “She’s a shooting star, and now @_AQA10 is All Elite!”

AQA, real name Angela Arnold, broke into the wrestling business after being trained by WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T and started working for his Reality of Wrestling promotion where she became a two-time ROW Diamonds Division Champion.

She also worked for SHIMMER and took part in a match at the Impact Wrestling vs. Reality of Wrestling: Deep Impact event. She has wrestled the likes of Shotzi Blackheart, Penelope Ford, Tessa Blanchard, Kiera Hogan and Kylie Rae.

AQA later signed with WWE where she made her in-ring debut under the ring name, Zayda Ramier, last March by teaming with Gigi Dolin against The Way’s Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. She got her first win in NXT by beating Toni Storm, but was rarely used after that.

WWE released her last November. AQA made her AEW debut this past Wednesday night on Dynamite where she lost to TBS Champion Jade Cargil.
