The reign as WWE Universal Champion that Roman Reigns has been able to accomplish is very impressive.
He is scheduled to defend his championship against former Universal Champion Goldberg at the Elimination Chamber event. The expectation is Reigns will successfully defend the title against the WWE Hall Of Famer as he is set to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38.
When Reigns gets this win then he will hit a milestone in his reign that will likely never been done again. Reigns has faced and retained the title against every single former Universal Champion since the title was created in 2016 in one single reign
He beat Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt at Payback in 2020 to win the title then defended it against Kevin Owens at TLC 2020 and the Royal Rumble 2021. He followed that up by retaining the title over Finn Balor at Extreme Rules 2021, Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel 2021 and Seth Rollins at Royal Rumble 2022.
