For those of you that missed that incredible MJF promo on AEW Dynamite, you should take some time to watch it.
As noted earlier, MJF addressed the issues he’s had with Tony Khan in regards to his pay and what he says is the disrespect he has been shown because he is not paid at the level as some of the ex-WWE stars that have been signed.
It was clearly a worked shoot promo and where this goes from here is anyone’s guess but at the end, he asked Khan to fire him and he called Khan a “f**king mark.” That last part was bleeped and then his microphone was cut off.
It’s clear that while MJF’s issues about his pay may be legitimate, they are running with this and doing something that you would have seen in ECW or WCW in the 1990s. It will be interesting to see how much of a difference this storyline makes in the ratings.
