Welcome to our live coverage of AEW Rampage, which is emanating from The Toyota Arena in Ontario, California. Announced for tonight’s show, Athena will make her in-ring AEW debut as she takes on Kiera Hogan, Scorpio Sky will defend his TNT championship against Dante Martin, and The Young Bucks will do battle with the Lucha Brothers.
Match 1: The Lucha Brothers vs The Young Bucks
– Matt Jackson and Penta El Zero Miedo start off the match by taunting each other, Penta takes off his glove and throws it in the face of Matt, Penta lands a drop tollhold and an armbar attempt but Matt gets out of it, Penta and Matt stare each other down once again, Nick then lands a top rope armdrag to Fenix, Nick and Fenix both miss roundhouse kicks on the outside, both men run back into the ring and each man lands a roundhouse kick, The Young Bucks then land a double kick to Fenix in the corner, Nick then lands a moonsault to Fenix on the outside, Penta then jumps over the top rope, Fenix then lands a corkscrew from the top rope to the outside, taking out both Matt and Nick, Penta then locks in an abdominal stretch to Nick in the ropes, Nick then lands a hurricarana on Fenix on the outside, Fenix then lands a rolling diamond cutter to Nick on then outside, Nick works on Fenix as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see Fenix kick Matt in the face, Matt then catches Fenix in mid-air, Matt lands theee northern lights suplexes to Fenix, followed by a forth to both Fenix and Penta, The Young Bucks then land a double team top rope swanton on Fenix for a nearfall, Fenix then lands a hurricarana on Matt, Fenix then lands a double team top rope footsomp on Matt for a nearfall, Penta then lands a pump handle slam on Matt, followed by a frog splash from Fenix for a nearfall, Nick Jackson then kicks Fenix off of Penta’s shoulders, causing Fenix to hit Penta with a reverse hurricarana, Matt then lands a top rope elbow on Fenix for a nearfall, Nick and Fenix then exchange blows in the ring, Fenix then lands a splash from the shoulder of Penta who is also on the top rope, Nick then lands a superkick on Fenix, followed by a reverse hurricarana and a double team superkick, The Young Bucks then catch Fenix and land the Meltzer driver, Matt goes for a pin but only gets two, The Young Bucks then take off Penta’s Mask and land a doubleteam superkick, The Young Bucks then hit Fenix with the BTE trigger for the pinfall victory.
Winners via pinfall: The Young Bucks at 14:54.
Match 2: Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks vs Jordan Cruz and Ju Dizz
– The match starts with Starks and Hobbs jumping the Gunn and attacking their opponents, Hobbs lands a powerslam on one of the men for the pinfall victory.
Winners via pinfall: Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks at 0:46.
Match 3: Kiera Hogan vs Athena
– The match starts off with both women locking up, Kiera lands a kick to the stomach, followed by a stiff palm strike, Athena then catches Kiera, Kiera goes for an armdrag but Athena lands on her feet, Athena then lands a crossbody for a two count, Kiera then rolls to the outside, Athena hits a diving elbow strike off the apron to Kiera, Athena goes for a top rope maneuver but Red Velvet grabs Athena’s legs and sends her face-first into the mat, Kiera lands a dropkick on Athena, followed by a kick to the back as we go to commercial break.
*Commercial break*
– We are back from commercial as we see both women on the mat, Athena land a dropkick to Kiera, followed by kicks and an enzuigiri, Athena then lands an elbow in the corner, Athena goes to the top but Velvet distracts her, Kiera drags Athena down and lands a hurricarana, followed by a running boot strike in the corner for a nearfall, Athena goes to the top once again but Kiera hits the ropes, racking her on the top turnbuckle, Athena fights her off and lands the eclipse for the pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall: Athena at 8:23.
– CM Punk makes his entrance, Punk says that once he arrived at the arena, every bone in his body told him to go home but his brain said show up and give an explanation, Punk says he didn’t want to let anyone down or send anyone home disappointed, Punk says that every second in the ring has been a gift he thought he’d never be able to experience again, Punk says that he needs surgery, Punk says that the wheels are still there, and haven’t fallen off, but one is broken, Punk says that he wants to wrestle right now, Punk says that he doesn’t want to hold the show up as he relinquishes the title, Punk says that he will come back stronger and better.
Match 4: TNT championship: Scorpio Sky (c) vs Dante Martin
-Scorpio Sky locks Dante in a headlock, followed by three shoulder tackles in a row, Dante then lands a tilt-a-whirl headscissors, followed by an armdrag into a submission as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see both men exchanging punches, Dante then jumps to the top rope and lands a dive to Scorpio on the outside, Dante then lands a dropkick from the top rope for a nearfall, Dante Lambert gets on the apron, Ethan Page tries to get involved but Sydal lands a meteora, Dante then lands a fireman’s carry cutter for a nearfall, Dante then kicks Scorpio in the face, Dante lands a crossbody but Scorpio turns it into a rollup for a nearfall, Scorpio then hits Dante with a TKO for the pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall and STILL TNT champion: Scorpio Sky at 8:13.
