WATCH: Kenny Omega receives plasma treatment for his injuries

Kenny Omega is doing everything he can to heal up from several injuries and come back better than ever.

His last match came when he dropped the AEW World Championship to “Hangman” Adam Page at Full Gear on November 13, 2021.

As previously reported in March, Omega was recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery and was scheduled for surgery to repair a sports hernia at the end of that month. The recovery from the knee surgery is ten weeks while recovering from the hernia surgery is about two months.

The LifeMed Institute shared a video on their Instagram to show off their plasma treatment to help with joint, muscle, and tendon pains. The client in the video was Omega himself. He had injections in his shoulder and knee.

Although he has been backstage at recent TV events, Omega found it was too early in the healing process to travel with his injuries. At one point, Omega had hoped to be back on television in February, but that clearly didn’t happen and there is currently no timetable set for his return.
