There’s a report in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter about a confrontation at the hotel between a top AEW star and current WWE star at the hotel after a recent Dynamite.
Meltzer reports that after the Dynamite in Houston there was a confrontation between Chris Jericho and MVP at the hotel around 1 am where the wrestlers were staying at. MVP lives in the Houston area.
The story goes that Jericho was talking with Matt Hardy when MVP showed up. People in the area didn’t know what was going on and thought that MVP was kidding but it became obvious that he was not. MVP and Jericho apparently had a falling out about 18 months ago.
Nothing bad happened at the hotel but it was said to be a tense situation Jericho did tell him that he doesn’t fight jobbers as he got into the elevator and MVP was screaming about it in the lobby.
