There is some unfortunate news coming out from tonight’s NXT live event in Largo, Florida.
According to fans at the show, Tony D’Angelo appears to have suffered a shoulder injury. The nature and severity of the injury are not confirmed by WWE but the pictures below show him holding onto his left shoulder while the referees check on him.
The injury is unfortunate but if it is indeed the shoulder, there’s a chance that he could still appear on TV in talking segments while his Wiseguys wrestle. D’Angelo has been one of the acts heavily featured since the NXT 2.0 relaunch. D’Angelo recently announced his Wiseguys stable, which includes Channing Lorenzo and Troy Donovan.
WWE NXT just went back on the road on Friday. This weekend’s shows are the first non-televised live events since the start of the pandemic in 2020.
