It’s looking like Prince Devitt is indeed headed to WWE based on the New Japan booking for the Prince Devitt vs. Ryusuke Taguchi match for April 6. Devitt must leave NJPW is he loses to Taguchi.
Rumors have floated around for months that Devitt would sign with WWE but the loser leaves NJPW match seems to confirm that he has signed or will be signing with WWE very soon. Dave Meltzer said on this morning’s Wrestling Observer radio that AJ Styles will be taking Devitt’s spot (not as the leader) in the Bullet Club. That’s the assumption from people in New Japan.
