Paige books her first post-WWE appearance

Paige is set to make her first appearance after her impending departure from WWE.

World Association of Wrestling, a promotion owned by Paige’s family, has announced that she will return home for Fightmare IV on October 15 at the Norfolk Showground.

Her WWE contract is slated to expire on July 7th. She has publicly stated that it wasn’t her decision to not sign a new deal, but rather it was WWE.

The former WWE Divas Champion has been retired from in-ring action since a live event in late 2017 because of spinal stenosis.

With the company not being able to book her as a wrestler, WWE used her in several roles including being the manager for Asuka and Kairi Sane as The Kabuki Warriors before they turned on her. She was also the SmackDown GM and worked on WWE Backstage on FS1 prior to its cancellation.

Although Paige has yet to be medically cleared to wrestle again, she has stated that she plans to get back into the ring for in-ring action.
