REPORT: Bruce Prichard named interim WWE Head of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis placed on administrative leave

Following the start of WWE’s Board investigating Vince McMahon and Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis, Bruce Prichard has been named interim Head of Talent Relations of WWE.

Pwinsider first reported the news as the company WWE issued a memo to talent that Prichard is the new Head of Talent Relations going forward.

According to the memo, “pending the conclusion of [WWE’s] Board of Directors’ internal investigation”, Laurinaitis has been placed on administrative leave. The memo also promised that Prichard would provide a “seamless transition.” Laurinaitis was not backstage for Monday’s Raw, according to PWinsider.com.

Last week, WWE announced that they were investigating McMahon and Laurinaitisover a $3 million dollar settlement to a former employee who allegedly had a sexual relationship with both men. The board is also investigating other misconduct claims.

McMahon voluntarily stepped down as CEO and Chairman of WWE while the investigation takes place and Stephane McMahon has been named interim CEO and Chairwoman.

Since returning to the company in 2019, Prichard has worked as a Senior Vice President and he is the Executive Producer of both Raw and SmackDown.
