AEW’s situation with injured wrestlers is worse now with another star out of action just as a big angle was about to kick off.
Dave Meltzer is reporting that Jungle Boy is also out with an injury. Jungle Boy recently started a feud with Christian Cage but was absent from Dynamite this past Wednesday. There is no word on the nature or the severity of the injury or a return timetable.
Jungle Boy is the latest in a long list of names that are on the injured list. The list includes CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, Anthony Bowens, The Bunny, Red Velvet, Darius Martin (from a car accident), Kenny Omega, Buddy Matthews, and Skye Blue.
There was talk that Matt Hardy was injured as well but he recently stated that he is fine, despite reports saying that he may have been banged up during his match at Triplemania.
The injuries have forced AEW to make changes to their plans for the Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
