Next ROH show expected to be announced soon

ROH has only held one event thus far this year and since AEW President Tony Khan bought the promotion in March. That event was Supercard of Honor this past April on WrestleMania 38 weekend. The show featured several title changes and the return of Samoa Joe in the closing moments of the show.

PWinsider.com reported today “the word making the rounds that an announcement on what will be the next Ring of Honor event should be coming in the next few days.”

ROH World Heavyweight Champion Jonathan Gresham last wrestled for AEW at Battle of the Belts II in April where he successfully defended the title against Dalton Castle.

ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe, ROH Tag Team Champions FTR, and ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta have regularly appeared on AEW shows since April as they’re all contracted AEW talent.

Mercedes Martinez won the interim ROH Women’s Championship before becoming the official champion after defeating Deonna Purrazzo in May on an edition of Dynamite.

Tully Blanchard, who formed the  Tully Blanchard Enterprises during Supercard of Honor, made an appearance on Friday’s episode of Rampage where he teased an ROH World Title storyline for his faction.
