Best wishes to Ilja Dragunov who suffered a serious injury at tonight’s WWE NXT tapings at the Performance Center in Orlando.
There aren’t many details available on his condition but fans at the taping say that he appeared to land on his neck while wrestling Ridge Holland. Again, we don’t know what exactly the spot was that led to the injury but as seen below, he had to be stretchered out of the building.
Fans at the building say that it was a very scary situation and there was no indication that this was a work. Dragunov is scheduled to defend the NXT Championship against Trick Williams in a couple of weeks at New Year’s Evil. Obviously, the injury could force WWE to change plans but the most important thing is that Dragunov recovers. Hopefully, this is not as serious as it looks. (UPDATE: Dragunov is fine, this is just a storyline)
