CM Punk is at the WWE Performance Center today

WWE and CM Punk are still in the honeymoon phase following his return to the company at the Survivor Series last month following the Men’s War Games Match, which was kept a top secret.

The deal for him to come back was made ten days before he returned. It’s a multi-year deal. He has since appeared on last week’s episode of SmackDown and made a surprise appearance at the NXT Deadline PLE over the weekend for a segment with Shawn Michaels.

On Monday’s Raw, Punk joined the Raw roster, where he had a heated segment with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins before declaring he would wrestle in the Men’s Royal Rumble match. The two are planned to work a program together in the near future.

Punk was spotted backstage at Tuesday’s NXT TV event, where he was visiting with talent.

Pwinsider reports CM Punk is at the WWE Performance Center today, where he is “training and holding court with NXT talents.” It was said that there was “a massive genuine excitement” about when Punk showed up and spent the day with talent.

WWE is slated to tape two weeks’ worth of NXT television from the PC tonight, although it’s unclear whether Punk will appear on NXT programming again.
