Seth Rollins on CM Punk’s return: I won’t waste my breath on someone who has tried to tear WWE down

Seth Rollins continued to make his feelings known in storyline about CM Punk’s return after the former WWE Champion returned to the company following the main event of Saturday’s Survivor Series premium live event where The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio) Drew McIntyre & JD McDonagh lost Rollins, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes & Randy Orton in the Men’s WarGames Match.

The moment

Footage captured Rollins being restrained by security as Punk was out by the stage area. He was flipping off Punk and cursing at him. As previously reported, Rollins’ reaction was just an angle based on Rollins’ past comments about Punk.

While doing a post-match promo at Sunday’s WWE house show, Rollins knocked Punk in storyline.

“You already know how I feel about that,” Rollins said. “I said as much last night. I’m not going to waste any more breath on somebody that has been gone for eight years, and has done nothing but try and tear this place down. Instead, I’m going to take my time and waste my breath on talking about the people who have been here all along. That’s everybody in the back who has made WWE the hottest ticket in town.”
