WWE confirmed today that Drew McIntyre will open tonight’s Raw following his heel turn last week when McIntyre helped Balor and Priest retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles against Rhodes and Uso last week on Raw as McIntyre delivered a Claymore to Uso.
McIntyre shook hands with Ripley after the match. The show is being held from Grand Rapids, MI at the Van Andel Arena.
McIntyre had previously come up short when challenging Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. This left him frustrated in storyline about not winning the top prize on the Raw brand, a hint before the heel turn happened.
