Backstage news on Drew McIntyre’s heel turn

Drew McIntyre turned heel on Monday night during WWE Raw, which sets the stage for him to team with The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh) at the Survivor Series PLE next Saturday in Chicago to take on Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes & TBA in the Men’s WarGames Match.

The heel turn happened when he turned on Jey Uso during the main event, where Jey and Cody were challenging Judgment Day for the Tag Team Titles. He shook hands with Rhea Ripley to close the show, leaving one spot open in the match on the babyface team, believed to be filled by the returning Randy Orton.

McIntyre had previously come up short when challenging Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title at the recent Crown Jewel PLE in Saudi Arabia, leaving him frustrated in storyline about not winning the top prize on the Raw brand.
