Two Iron Survivor Challenge qualifying matches have been announced for Tuesday’s WWE NXT as the build to the December 9th Deadline PLE continues.
Lita announced via Instagram that Roxanne Perez would take on Lash Legend and Trick Williams would take on Gallus’ Joe Coffey. Both matches will take place on Tuesday’s NXT. The winners of these matches will go on to qualify for the men’s and women’s matches at the upcoming PLE.
Perez was the winner of last year’s Iron Survivor Challenge as she went on to defeat Mandy Rose to become NXT Women’s Champion, marking Rose’s final bout with WWE.
Last year, the Iron Survivor Challenge debuted, featuring five men and five women working a 25-minute match. Participants joined every five minutes, and the participant who scored the highest number of falls was crowned the winner.
Other things announced for NXT include NXT Tag Team champions Chase U defending against Tony D’Angelo and Stacks, Supernova Sessions with guests Alpha Academy, and OTM vs. Brawling Brutes.
