WWE SmackDown’s Return to the USA Network In 2024 Will Mark a Change for West Coast Viewers

WWE has already announced that they will be leaving FOX and have signed a five-year agreement to bring SmackDown back to the USA Network.

SmackDown aired on the USA Network from 2016 to 2019 before moving to FOX. This move will take effect in October 2024 and will keep the blue brand on the network until 2029.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that SmackDown will air on the West Coast live for the first time. The day that the show airs is still unknown. It has aired on Tuesday and Thursday nights in the past.

“One of the things that they did get, which is also going to be interesting, is that SmackDown will be live on the West Coast for the first time, I think, ever. I don’t think it’s ever been live on the West Coast. So it’s going to be airing from 5 to 7 on the West Coast. Whether it’s Friday night or another night remains to be seen,” Meltzer stated.
