Former WWE Star Opts to Sign With New Promotion Instead of Return to the Company

WWE has a good track record of signing talent to multi-year deals, in some cases for big money. Offering wrestlers the biggest platform in wrestling and good money for most is something that many wrestlers have dreamed about for years. However, it’s not a fit for everyone.

Sareee (Sarray) had the chance to return to the company but decided against it. Sareee joined WWE in February 2020 after finding success in Japan and departed in March 2022 after deciding to leave after not being used on television for several months.

She worked just 23 total matches under the WWE banner. Despite having interest from WWE, she has signed with a new promotion, Sukeban, and will debut at their second event in company history.
