Tyson Fury: “Boxing Is Much Easier Than WWE”

Although Tyson Fury is known as a top draw in the boxing world, he’s also a big pro wrestling fan, and fans are still waiting to see him perform again inside of the squared circle.

Fury is slated to have his next fight on October 28th when he takes on former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou, who is making his professional boxing debut in Saudi Arabia. However, the fight won’t feature Fury’s WBC Heavyweight Title on the line.

Fury made his in-ring debut in October 2019 with a win over Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

While doing an interview with ESPN, Fury said boxing is easier for him than WWE because of how taxing pro wrestling is on his body.

“WWE’s too hard for me. Boxing is much easier than WWE. It’s very physical and taxing on the body. WWE, getting slammed on the floor and all that sort of stuff. I’d rather move around the ring and dodge punches.”

Some people took Fury’s comments as him ruling out a pro wrestling return. However, earlier this week, he kept the door open by noting that there are a lot of opportunities for him in WWE, and after the fight, he would explore his options.
