Jon Moxley Pulled From Wrestling Revolver Match, Replaced By Former WWE Star

Jon Moxley was not able to work a match for Wrestling Revolver on Sunday night, where he was slated to face Gringo Loco in a lucha street fight.

The Revolver Redemption event in Dayton, Ohio, saw former WWE star Rich Swann end up replacing the top AEW star. Moxley did appear when he announced that doctors would not let him wrestle on the show.

In the end, Loco defeated Swann in the match. Post-match, Gringo Loco accused Moxley of being scared to face him. This would seemingly set up a match down the road.

The former AEW World Heavyweight Champion did suffer a concussion against Rey Fenix at Dynamite Grand Slam on September 20, where he made the call on the fly to drop the All Atlantic Championship to Fenix.

Now, they will run it back on Dynamite Title Tuesday this week. Moxley did appear at Wrestling Revolver shows over the weekend and took part in a meet and greet.
