Fans will dress up as iconic wrestlers when attending wrestling shows; usually, there are no problems. However, it was an issue for Kevin Hunsperger, who dressed up as the legendary Big Boss Man when attending WWE WrestleMania 39.
Boss Man, real name Ray Traylor, worked for WWE from 1988-1993 and 1998-2003 with a gimmick of a corrections officer. He passed away in 2003.
Hunsperger had a blue sheriff’s department shirt that was clearly fake and a foam nightstick to complete the costume. He took to TikTok to share that a security guard had told him that he was “impersonating a law officer.”
He attended both nights of WrestleMania 39, but was kicked out on the second night. After being told by the security guard that a patch from a sheriff’s department from Georgia was an issue and he couldn’t come in, he tore off the patch.
The man was told he had to take off the shirt despite other guards, workers, and fans telling this security guard that the fan was doing a cosplay. He had a “Big Boss Man” across his chest.”
He was asked to leave, He made the decision to change his clothes in the parking lot before going back to the stadium and attending the show.
