It is finally WWE WrestleMania weekend as the company will present two nights of the show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, CA. It’s going to be a big show not only for its product, but also for the business side.
The company is set to break several records at the show. WWE has already sold more tickets for WrestleMania 39 than WrestleMania 38 did last year.
As previously noted, WWE Senior Vice President and Head of Global Sales & Partnerships Craig Stimmel revealed that the show has done over $20 million in sponsorship revenue, which is a record for any WWE event.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that several records will be broken including it being the most viewers watching Mania because it’s on Peacock and the streaming service has grown in the past year, the most merchandise sold, and the most sponsorship revenue.
