Samoa Joe defeated Mark Briscoe to retain the ROH World TV Title tonight at Supercard of Honor.
Going into the match, the story was that Mark was dedicating the match to Jey and his family at home. The other storyline of the match was that Mark was never able to beat Joe during their previous singles matches.
Joe won by referee stoppage because Mark passed out while in a choke. Joe and Mark shook hands after the match and the fans gave Mark a standing ovation as Mark went over to hug his family. The announcers said that this is just another mountain for Mark to climb so a rematch is inevitable at some point.
