Cruz Del Toro talking about Rey Mysterio going into the Hall of Fame:
“It’s a great moment for the Latin people. Imagine, he’s still an active wrestler, and you have a match on Saturday with his son, unfortunately. But he’s gonna be in the Hall of Fame. What a moment for Rey. He is someone that deserves something like that.”
On helping out Rey Mysterio in his feud with Dominik:
“Well, the match is supposed to be a single match between Rey and Dom and we’re here to make sure that there’s going to be a single match between Rey and Dom because we know maybe Judgment Day will be around there taking care of Dom, but that’s why Legado Del Fantasma is here, to watch Rey’s back.”
On the difference between being in NXT and being on the main roster:
“Well, basically, the problem is kind of the same, the cameras and all of that. But to be honest, for me it’s more exciting to be here because you travel every week. You go to different cities. You meet different people,. You meet different crowds in the WWE Universe. In NXT was 400 people in the arena, and now every week we’ve been in from 10,000, 15,000, 20,000. We were in Mexico last year and it was almost 20,000 in each arena. So it’s such a huge, huge difference, but in a good way.”
His prediction in the Roman Reigns-Cody Rhodes match:
“I think he’s gonna finish this story. The American Nightmare is my prediction.”
