Ahead of WWE WrestleMania 39, there’s been a lot of talk about Brock Lesnar’s future with the company.
PWInsider recently reported that Lesnar was saying goodbye to people backstage at the Elimination Chamber show and that he said that he was “finishing up.”
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that whatever is going on with Lesnar is being kept top secret and presumably, the only people who know his status after Mania would be people at the very top (Vince McMahon, Nick Khan, Triple H).”
Meltzer was asked about the latest “nugget” of news on Brock Lesnar’s status. Meltzer said, “The only nugget on Brock is that his stuff is a total secret. Nobody knows what’s going on with him…Nobody knows. Legitimately nobody knows.”
During previous years, Lesnar’s WWE deal would expire around April so there’s a possibility that his contract is up and he may take time off or decide to hang up his wrestling boots for good.
