WWE has discussed an idea for Big E at WrestleMania

It has been a year since Big E broke his neck on an episode of WWE SmackDown, marking his last appearance on WWE television. However, he could be appearing again in the near future.

Earlier this month, while speaking with TMZ Sports, Big E stated that he wants to make the best decision for his life and career once he undergoes scans this month to see how his neck has recovered since the last time he underwent the tests, which was shortly after the injury happened.

These tests will be important as they will determine how well the neck has progressed and whether he can wrestle again. He’s supposed to get those answers sometime this month.

As previously reported, Kofi Kingston suffered an ankle injury, leading to him getting surgery and likely preventing him from wrestling at WrestleMania. However, before Kingston was told he had to get surgery, WWE did discuss an idea for The New Day at WrestleMania.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that “I don’t think if anything will come of this or if Kingston’s injury changes this, but we had heard of an idea for E to be at WrestleMania and the three of them would come out together if that would be the right thing to do and if E could come back soon.”

Even if it were for a brief segment, to see New Day back together again on WWE television would make for a special moment.
