Jerry Lawler returns home after suffering a stroke

WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler was rushed to the hospital last month after suffering a stroke.

It happened after he had lunch with friends and was found outside his Fort Myers, Florida, home. After being removed from the ICU, the previous update on his health was that the plan called for him to go home and receive outpatient therapy at that time.

Pwinsider.com reported that Lawler recently returned to his home in Memphis, Tennessee, as he had been in Florida attending outpatient therapy.

Lawler’s previous serious health scare happened when he had a heart attack in 2012 during a WWE Monday Night Raw episode right after he had competed in a match on the show. When he rejoined Michael Cole at commentary, he passed out when suffering a heart attack.

Lawler continued to wrestle on the independent scene for years after it, although WWE never cleared him to wrestle in their ring again.

We wish him a speedy recovery.
