Vickie Guerrero says AEW requested for her to stay home, no longer going to events

Vickie Guerrero sent out an interesting tweet to let fans know that she won’t be with Nyla Rose on tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage.

As previously reported last month, Guerrero will be leaving AEW in a few months after joining the promotion in the summer of 2020 as Rose’s manager at Fight for the Fallen. Vickie has also managed Marina Shafir. In addition to her manager role, she has worked with the AEW Heels community.

Guerrero and All Elite Wrestling reportedly mutually decided not to renew her contract when it expires this July.

However, it looks like AEW has pulled her from television months before her deal expires, as she noted on Twitter that AEW told her to stay home and not come to events. She tweeted:

“@aew requested for me to stay home and I am not at events…I have no doubts that the #viciousvixens @NylaRoseBeast @MarinaShafir will have the fans witness a destructive match against Riho!”

It’s possible that this is part of a storyline, but AEW has seemingly decided to have her wait out the remainder of her deal.
