WWE NXT star expected to move up to main roster after WrestleMania

Fans can expect to see Cameron Grimes be used on main roster television after WWE WrestleMania Goes Hollywood in April.

In December, Grimes was reportedly going to be called up to the main roster after he had his last match in November on NXT TV when he lost to Joe Gacy. However, that has yet to happen.

As previously reported last week by Dave Meltzer, WWE still planned to call him up to the main roster, but they don’t have a storyline for him so he has been just waiting for that to happen.

Grimes returned to action before last Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, by working a pre-show dark match where he lost to Ashante Thee Adonis.

Pwinsider.com reports that there have been rumblings internally that Grimes is “expected to be called up to the main roster, possibly after WrestleMania.”

It’s been expected that Grimes would be called up, but the timing has been unknown.
