Former WWE star says he will wrestle without a mask soon

Lince Dorado is looking to make a notable change to his appearance in wrestling.

Dorado made a name for himself as a masked luchador, but in a recent tweet, the former WWE star stated that 2023 would be his last year wrestling with a mask.

He wrote on Twitter, “I’ve contemplated this for a while now, possibly 5 years now. For almost 2 decades I have been someone I’m not. I have decided! This will be my last year masked. Question is will I lose it or say fuck it, this is the real me? #luchalit.”

In 2007, he started his career by working for a number of independent promotions. He worked the WWE Cruiserweight Classic in 2016 where he lost in the second round. WWE was impressed and signed him where he was later paired with Kalisto and Gran Metalik to form a stable called Lucha House Party.

In November 2021, Dorado asked for his WWE release. On May 5, 2022, Dorado made his MLW debut. Last October, Dorado defeated Shun Skywalker to become the MLW World Middleweight Championship. He joined NJPW earlier this year.
