NJPW star mocks CM Punk after he attended Battle in the Valley

The issues that NJPW’s KENTA has with CM Punk go back several years.

The former WWE Champion started using the GTS, Go To Sleep, as a finishing maneuver in WWE, which is a move that was popularized by KENTA in Japan.

Although Punk has openly credited KENTA for the idea of the GTS finisher, KENTA will take shots at Punk at every chance he gets via social media.

KENTA won the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship at the NJPW Battle in the Valley event in San Jose, CA on Saturday night. Punk was in attendance for the show that featured the in-ring return of Mercedes Mone.

KENTA took to Twitter to mock Punk after hearing that he was in attendance.

He wrote, “I heard that my biggest fan in the world came to arena last night.I hope he enjoyed REAL Go2Sleep.”
