Mercedes Mone releases documentary: I left WWE to be here in NJPW, I want to make them global

Mercedes Mone posted a documentary on her YouTube channel ahead of her match with Kairi at Battle in the Valley later tonight.

The video covers Mone arriving in Japan last month before her NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom. She noted that at the time the video was recorded, she had not yet signed her contract. Mone got emotional as she talked about supportive texts she got from Triple H and William Regal. She said that she is grateful for the Sasha Banks character but being a “legit CEO” is what she is in real life.

Mone talked about beginning a new chapter and being the happiest she’s been in a long time. She also talked about how excited she is about potential match-ups in NJPW. You also see footage of her backstage talking to Kenny Omega and walking out to the ring for her first NJPW appearance.

Check out the documentary below. Battle in the Valley will air live tonight from San Jose, CA on NJPWWorld.com.
