Grayson Waller vs Tyler Bate
Waller was tuning up for Sweet Chin Music but Bate grabbed Waller’s foot and punched him in the mouth. He then hit a superkick on Waller and went for the pin, but Waller was able to reach the rope. Waller went for a sunset flip, but Waller dropped down on him and hooked the rope, but the ref saw it. Bate reversed it to pin Waller.
Earlier today, Brooks Jensen told Josh Briggs he’s never kissed a girl before. Briggs and Fallon Henley gave Jensen advice when to kiss Kiana James.
Backstage, Waller started arguing with Shawn Michaels until A-Train escorted him out.
Apollo Crews said he is focused on revenge on Dabba-Kato
In the ring, Jacy Jayne said last week was the end of the Toxic Attraction story and the beginning of the Jacy Jayne story. From now on, everything is going to be about her. Jayne called her Jannetty and said Dolin is going to be exposed because she no longer has her to cover up her mistakes.
Sol Ruca said she had an agreement with her parents that they would get her out of school when she was younger as long as her grades were good, so she did gymnastics, snowboarding, skateboarding, and learned how to play guitar. She said she wants another match with Zoey Stark.
Tiffany Stratton vs Thea Hale (w/ Andre Chase & Duke Hudson)
Thea Hale was distracted throughout the match as The Schism was in the Chase U cheering section which terrified Hale. Another Schism member unmasked revealing Ava Rain. Stratton hit a moonsault on Hale to score the pin.
Backstage, Javier Bernal asked Tatum Paxley to be his Valentine. Paxley said she is taken. Nile then put Bernal in the Dragon Sleeper. We heard Isla Dawn talking from behind the curtain.
Axiom vs Damon Kemp
Kemp hit a big clothesline on Axiom followed by an Electric Chair Suplex. He tried an overhead suplex, but Axiom landed on his feet and punched Kemp. Axiom hit Kemp with a flying kick and followed it up with a uperkick for the pin.
Backstage, Henley was looking at her phone and told Briggs he has to tell Henley what she has been wanting to tell him for weeks.
They showed Waller tweeting about Michaels kicking him out of the building and he said Michaels has no idea how to treat an actual superstar
In the ring, Bron Breakker said it appears everybody wants to see him go against Carmelo Hayes. Jinder Mahal and Indus Sher came out. Mahal said he admires Breakker because he’s carried NXT for the last year. Mahal said there is a section of the fan base who no longer like Breakker. He then challenged him to a match next week. Breakker asked Mahal if Indus Sher is his new three man band. Idus Sher was going to attack Breakker, but Mahal held them back.
Backstage, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance apologized to Roxanne Perez about last week’s interaction with her. Perez thanked Meiko Satomura for being her tag team partner tonight, but Satomura said she has her reasons.
Wes Lee’s NXT North American Championship Open Challenge:
Tony D’Angelo with Stacks started to make their way down the aisle, but Dijak attacked D’Angelo from behind. Stacks joined the fight. In the ring, Von Wagner attacked Lee with a big boot and accepted the open challenge. Wagner press slammed Lee, but Lee escaped and delivered a couple superkicks to Wagner followed by a running knee. He then hit the Cardiac Kick to Wagner to pin him.
Backstage, Hank Walker showed Drew Gulak is new ring outfit, but said his boots didn’t come in. Gulak gave said he had a feeling that would happen and gave him a pair of his boots.
Charlie Dempsey vs. Hank Walker (w/ Drew Gulak)
Walker had Dempsey in an armbreaker submission, but Dempsey escaped and got him in a crossface for the submission. After the match, Dempsey applied the hold on Walker again, but Gulak did not come in to help Walker. Dempsey released the hold and left with Gulak.
Backstage, Robert Stone told Von Wagner he Wagner has no connection to the audience or to anybody. Stone said help me help you.
Gallus was shooting pool in a bar. Pretty Deadly came and challenged them to a game of pool and if they won, they would get a shot at their tag team championship. Pretty Deadly lost, but Gallus said if they wanted a shot at the belts, they got it.
Backstage, Ilja Dragunov said he is not done with JD McDonagh. From inside the ring, Trick Williams challenged Dragunov to a match. Dragunov came to the ring. Williams punched him and Dragunov kicked him sending him out of the ring. JD McDonagh came out and said McDonagh should be in jail for his sneak attack that caused his torn retina. Williams attacked Dragunov from behind and left him lying.
Backstage, Williams told Carmelo Hayes what he did to Dragunov. Hayes told him you woke a sleeping dragon.
They showed Jensen walking James to her door. Jensen was going in for the kiss when Henley and Briggs showed up, Henley yelled stop, and told Jensen that James is cheating on him. James denied it, but Henley said she heard her on the phone telling Zack he loves him. James said Zack is her brother. Zack opened the door and called James, ‘Sis.’ James went inside and Jensen did not get his kiss.
Roxanne Perez & Meiko Satomura vs Kayden Carter & Katana Chance
Satomura hit a Pele kick on Carter and made the tag to Perez. Perez hit the Pop Rock on Carter and pinned her. Satomura told Perez she did the favor for her, now she needs to return the favor. She challenged Perez for her NXT Championship. Perez said it would be her honor.
